While not strictly plein air, our friend Mitch Kolbe, a master artist and instructor, is offering a six week course on portrait painting. To say Mitch Kolbe knows his stuff is an understatement, and he assures me that many of the color mixing skills can readily be translated to plein air painting. You will have the option of attending either an evening or morning class.
Classes will be held weekly and run six weeks at a time. June 6th through July 16th. Evening class will start Thursday, June 6th 2024, from 6pm to 9pm, with morning class on Tuesday, June 11th 2024, from 8am to 11am.
Tuition is $360.00 for the six week course. You can pay on the first day of class. If you are unable to attend all six sessions you can opt for three at a prorated price. Please email Mitch at mitchkolbe@yahoo.com for more specifics.
